Why choose a Cleveland Select Ornamental Pear?

White spring blossom, glossy summer leaves and red, orange and burgundy autumn foliage give Cleveland Select a long season of interest. Its fast-growing, dense, symmetrical form is naturally tidy with minimal pruning and suits screening, avenues and urban landscapes.

How can I use it in my garden?

• Plant rows for an avenue or boundary screen.

• Use as a feature in a medium to large garden.

• Pair with Capital or Winter Glow pears for varied shapes.

Where does it grow best?

Grow in full sun to part shade. It adapts to most soils and urban conditions, becoming drought and frost tolerant once established.

What does it look like through the year?

Pure white spring blossoms are followed by glossy green foliage through summer. Red, orange and burgundy autumn leaves fall to reveal neat upright winter branches.
