Apparent Glyphosate 450 Herbicide is a water-soluble, non-residual product designed for broad-spectrum control of many annual and perennial weeds across a wide range of use situations.
It controls most weed species and breaks down into naturally occurring substances in the environment. When used as directed, it has very low toxicity to people and animals.
This herbicide is suitable for general weed control in domestic areas such as home gardens, as well as commercial, industrial and public service areas, agricultural buildings and other farm environments. For specific weeds, brush, woody weeds or unwanted trees, always consult the official “Weeds Controlled” tables in the label directions.
Apparent Glyphosate 450 delivers a complete knock-down of existing weeds without leaving residue in the soil. It may be tank-mixed with a variety of other products and can be used with certain residual herbicides where extended suppression of new germinations is required.
Glyphosate belongs to the glycine group of herbicides. It works by disrupting an enzyme pathway in plants, preventing the formation of three essential amino acids needed for growth.
The product is absorbed through leaves and green stems, then moves from the contact point throughout the plant and into the root system. Because it becomes inactive on contact with soil, it does not provide ongoing residual control.
Visible symptoms usually appear within 3–7 days on annual weeds. Under cool or cloudy conditions, or when treating some perennial species, results may take up to 2–3 weeks to become evident.
